There’s a room waiting and big Fourth of July doings in Fort Bragg, Saturday, July 7. Click here see all the great places to stay.
First you’ll get your fill at a great salmon barbecue, which is scheduled from 11am to 6pm. That leaves plenty of time for a walk and sunset photos before grabbing a place at the Noyo Harbor Bridge or Pomo Bluffs Park to watch the sky light up.
Here are the details
Fireworks: Mendocino County’s longest running fireworks display will once again take place over Noyo Harbor just after dark (around 9pm). Arrive early for a good parking spot at Todd Point. A $5 parking fee helps support next year’s show.
Fish: The 40th Annual World’s Largest Salmon BBQ, July 7, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm in Noyo Harbor, Fort Bragg. Tickets are $25 at the door or $20 at Harvest Market. No dogs allowed in the dining area, but there is a great leash-free dog park below the Noyo Harbor Bridge.
Last year, about 3,000 people attended this event to raise money to restore salmon populations.
