Cate Hawthorne and Jeff Laxier, owners of Liquid Fusion Kayaking in Fort Bragg understand how to create a memorable kayaking adventure whether you’re a beginner or a advanced “rock gardener.”
Here their latest summer line up:
Daily Tours – For those that are not aquatically inclined, we have Dry and Mild tours that are comfortable and easy, but rich with experience. For those that are adventurous and willing to get wet, our Whitewater of the Sea (rock gardening) is wet and wild and accessible to beginning through advanced paddlers.
We also have started running our tandem sea kayak trips along the coast. They can be dry and mild or wet and wild. Check out this 15 second video clip from last week.
Sea Kayaking –
7/6 Essential Kayak Skills – dial in the basic strokes and rescue skills for sea kayaks. (check out our repeat customer special)
7/13 Sea Kayak Rock Gardening Class – learn the skills for paddling the rock gardens of the Mendocino Coast
7/14 Second Sunday Coastal Tour – Explore the Mendocino Coast under our guidance and coaching. Each month, we do a different stretch.
Whitewater Kayaking – California is really dry. GOOD NEWS – there is never a shortage of whitewater on the Mendocino Coast. Our rock gardens always hold fun and adventure so come play with us. Our Whitewater of the Sea Adventures are available several times/week. Each trip is different and catered to the skill levels and interests of the group (typically 2-4 paddlers).
