On Saturday, March 19th, 2016, from noon-4:00 p.m., 16 notable brewers will be arriving at the 18th Annual Fort Bragg Beer Festival, hosted by the Fort Bragg Rotary Club, to serve over 100 different varieties of award winning Belgian, Porter, Stouts, IPA, Ales and more. If you’re a microbrewery fan, and a fine beer connoisseur, this is the event for you! The $30 admission includes entry, tastings, live music, and a souvenir glass to keep.
The event, which is part of the Fort Bragg Whale Festival, will be held at the historic Eagles Hall, at 210 North Corry Street, on the corner of Corry and Alder, in Fort Bragg, California. There will also be a barbecue, provided by the Mendocino Sports Foundation. Participants can enjoy live music by the Gnarly Pints. Tickets are available at the door.
The event is a benefit for the Rotary Club Fort Bragg. Guests are invited to taste as many of the beers as they wish, but they must be 21 years old, and an ID will be required. No children or pets will be allowed to attend. For more information, please call: (707) 964-9644 or email the Rotary.
The Rotary Club of Fort Bragg is an organization of business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian services and help to build good will and peace in the world. Proceeds from this event go toward local projects and scholarships.
Before attending the Beer Festival, a perfect activity for individuals, families and friends would be to take a leisurely walk along the breathtakingly beautiful, recently opened Coastal Trail, and catch a view of the whales at Otsuchi Point. Then, in addition to the Beer Festival, there are many other great activities to enjoy during the Fort Bragg Whale Festival!
