Like communities across America, Fort Bragg honored veterans today at Rose Memorial Park, a small cemetery on the edge of downtown Fort Bragg. The event was attended by about 50 people. A prayer, a reading, a 21-gun salute and playing of taps were all part of the event. The cemetery itself was ablaze with small American flags on servicemen’s graves.
