Fort Bragg, California Depot Building MuralWith more than 20 galleries, restaurants and shops where you can view art, Downtown Fort Bragg continues to reinforce its image as a legitimate art colony. From the candy-colored fuel tanks a few blocks east on Franklin Street to the Tattoo Museum on Main, there is something for everyone. Among the “not to be missed” artwork is the mural on the north side of the Depot Building on the corner of Main (Highway 1) and Laurel Streets. It is rich in color and history. Our town’s historic California “Skunk” Railroad is depicted along with portraits of kids, families and dogs. Check it out.
