Mandi at Paws for Cats and Dogs celebrated First Friday with a fun Yappy Hour special. For a small donation to animal rescue, you could bring your canine friend for a Spa Treatment – a pedicure, fur trim, waterless bath and ear cleaning. I figured Riley, my tomboy terrier mix, might like getting in-touch with her girly side, so we made Paws our first stop on the monthly art-walk tour. While we enjoyed complementary refreshments and adult beverages, Riley enjoyed her first spa experience. And she was quite the hit with her snazzy blue toenails as we made our way to the rest of the First Friday shops and galleries.
