Geocache Travel Bug Adventures to Singapore

Dog Park @ Pasir Ris, Singapore

A Travel Bug hidden in the Fort Bragg Dog Park Geocache is traveling internationally!

WhiteWizard’s log entry says he found the bug in a cache in Felton.  He goes on to say, “Figured it didn’t matter what country the dog park is in the world so brought him back with me to Singapore. I hope he is adventurous!”  I don’t know if the dog park in Pasir Ris has a geocache, but if it does, I bet the Fort Bragg travel bug would enjoy visiting.

Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment. A geocacher named MCDOG put a cache and travel bug in the dog park so geocachers with and without pups would stop by the park.

A Travel Bug is a trackable item that moves from place to place, picking up stories along the way. If you go here, you can learn more about it, even live vicariously through other bug’s adventures.

If you can’t get to Singapore, try to stop by the Fort Bragg Dog Park. It’s at S. Lincoln and Maple – right next to the nifty new CV Starr Community Center with the jaw-dropping swimming pool.
