“On the third night of Christmas, my true love gave to me … three French Hens, two Turtle Doves and a Partridge in a Pear Tree …”
Well, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Mendocino County (located in Fort Bragg) and MUSE, two local non-profit organizations, won’t be handing out any birds this year. But they will be dispensing holiday cheer to raise money when they will hold their 21st Annual Candlelight Inn Tour December 9-11.
Each year, about 25 inns and lodges, including 8-10 in Fort Bragg, participate: they decorate for the holiday, open their rooms for viewing, and offer Christmas Cheer in the form of refreshments, such as cookies, cakes, hot cider, and other treats.
Little River/Albion inns open December 9; Mendocino inns December 10, and Fort Bragg December 11. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children 10 years and under. Price includes all three days and light refreshments at the inns.
