Day of the Dead Art and Altar Trail

Print This Post Print This Post

Fort Bragg and surrounding communities are celebrating Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, with an Art and Altars Trail. It’s easy to find the various locations as they’ve published a guide that will help you find your way to dozens of displays located in businesses, inns, schools, organizations and the public library.

According to the trails guide, the Day of the Dead is a time for the dead to return home, visit loved ones, feast on their favorite foods and celebrate.

The art and altars are on display from Oct 22 through November 2 in Fort Bragg:

Beachcomber Motel, Fort Bragg Library, Racines, If the Shoe Fits, North Soles Shoes, Toto Zaida, Pacific Gift Company, Maness Photography Old Time Studio, Mendocino Coast Photography Guild, Family Hands, Learning Garden at the Fort Bragg High School, and the College of the Redwoods Grind Coffee Shop.

And that’s just the Fort Bragg locations!  Click here to download a complete list of art and altar locations and the trail map.
