“Street Corners of Fort Bragg” is a new historical walking tour guide. It’s a wonderful piece produced and paid for by the Native Daughters of the Golden West – Fort Bragg Parlor #210.

Nine different downtown locations are located on the map with references to about 50 historic sites and buildings.

First Baptist Church land donated by lumber baron C.R. Johnson.

Heading up this important history project was our own Ruth Sparks, a member of the Daughters and a tireless advocate of historic preservation. She was in the forefront of the Mendocino Village walking tour map and historic signage program created by the Mendocino Study Club, another one of her many activities.

The brochure is a wonderful examples of how a gentle arm twisting for funds and support and lots of hard work help preserve our culture for the enjoyment of current and future generations.
