Celebrate the planet and its life sustaining waters on Sunday April 26th at the Noyo Food Forest’s third annual Earth Day festival held from noon to 6pm at The Learning Garden at Fort Bragg High School.

“Earth Day 2009: Cool Blue Planet” will feature live entertainment, locally grown organic food and wood fired pizzas, pedal powered smoothies, a spring vegetable and ornamental plant sale, a kids tent with a full day of activities and performances, electric tractor demos, Do-It-Yourself compost, grey water and rainwater harvesting workshops, local business vendors, and more.

Live blues by The Mighty T-Bones, hip reggae from Humboldt County’s own Juce, and Mendocino County’s own DJ Facilitator One will keep the dance floor jumping throughout the day.
