Friday, July 16th, 2010

Slap on your sunscreen, pack your water and strap on your good shoes; it is time to take advantage of the sunny days this weekend! You might be like me and need a reason to get outside. If you are, here are some things you can do, learn and see while you are getting some much needed Vitamin D. Hare Creek Beach

Yogo! Attend a free yoga class. Mike Ehlers will lead you in a series of relaxing poses among the flowers and food growing in the garden by the Noyo Food Forest Friday, July 16th at 4pm at the Fort Bragg High School learning garden.

Be a steward of nature. Help clean up Hare Creek with the Hare Creek Stewards on Saturday, July 17th from 9-12pm. Meet the group at the south end of the College of the Redwoods parking lot.

Walk the redwoods. Join Mike and Denise Stenberg for their history walk through the redwoods Sunday, July 18th at 1:30. This event is being sponsored by the Fort Bragg-Mendocino Coast Historical Society. Sign up ahead by calling Mike at 964-7177 or Denise at 964-2404
