Abalone & Chicken Wings?! Say no more…

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

Saturday, August 21st is gearing up to be a fabulous day of eating! I’m gonna start feasting on salads to prepare.

From 11am-3pm, Fort Bragg Lions’ Club will be hosting a Chicken Wing Cook-Off on Laurel St. Wings of all spiciness and variety will be represented. For more info, visit http://http://www.fortbragglionsclub.org/Events.html.

At 4pm, the Fort Bragg Food Bank is having an Abalone Feed with live music and a no host bar. It will be held at “Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish Hall” at 605 Maple St. with tickets available at the door, the Food Bank and Harvest Market.

The only thing more enjoyable than feasting on wings and fish all day in night is knowing that all the proceeds are gonig to great local causes. Dig in!
