Gloriana Musical Theatre presents 100 Years of Broadway 

Gloriana 100 Years of BroadwayIt’s the last weekend to celebrate the history of Broadway with the Gloriana singers, a great Fort Bragg tradition. Friday and Saturday night performances begin at 7:30 and there’s a matinee Sunday at 3:00 p.m. From the music of the early days to current productions, you’ll appreciate this lively celebration of one of our countries most enduring musical traditions spanning 100 years of great entertainment, including songs from Les Miserables, Show Boat, Gypsy, Wicked, West Side Story, Phantom of the Opera and other classic favorites.

Admission is $22 for the general public, $20 for Seniors and $12 for youth (17 and under). Purchase tickets online at gloriana.org, at Harvest Market in Fort Bragg, or at the door of Eagles Hall Theatre prior to each performance.

Rural Health Rocks presents Michael McDonald & Friends

Michael McDonaldMichael McDonald of Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan fame will be in concert at Cotton Auditorium in Fort Bragg this Saturday night, April 29 to raise funds for healthcare in Mendocino County. Over the years, McDonald has collaborated with artists like Kenny Loggins, David Casiddy, Van Halen, Patti LaBelle, and Aretha Franklin.  Winner of  five Grammy Awards, he will be joined by a great line up of local artists like Alex de Grassi, Gene Parsons, David Hayes, and more. The show begins at 7:00 p.m., reserved seating is $40 and $75.  Tickets at Brown Paper Tickets.

International Jazz Day Benefit Performance

International Jazz DayInternational Jazz Day Benefit Performances will be happening all over the planet this Sunday, and North Coast Brewing Co. is proud to announce its support of the event with a great line up of musicians at the Sequoia Room at North Coast Brewery on Sunday, April 30, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Recommended donation for the event is only $5.00 and the musical lineup includes Tenor Madness with Karl Schoen and Sunny Cordell, the Dorian May Trio with Sharon Garner, Bongo Latte, the Lynn Kieswetter Ensemble, the John Gilmore Trio, and others creating exciting spontaneous combos! Admission donation and a portion of the proceeds from the Sequoia Room that day will be donated to the Noyo Center for Marine Science in Fort Bragg. The International Jazz Day performance from Havana, Cuba will be streamed in the Bar and the Sequoia Room.
