Celebrity Chef Bradley Ogden Headlines Winesong 2012

The event wine lovers and foodies from all over have been waiting for is just around the corner. We’re talking about Winesong, the annual charity event benefiting Mendocino Coast District Hospital.

Set in the spectacular Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, the event this year features Celebrity Chef Bradley Ogden, who will prepare lunch for VIP ticket holders. As part of the Winesong auction, Ogden has also donated a chance for 10 lucky individuals to help him prepare and enjoy a fabulous meal. Bay Area celebrity Narsai David will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the auction.

Prize Winning Vase By Cynthia Myers, Winesong 2012 Artist Of The Year

Cynthia Myers has been selected the 2012 Winesong Artist of the Year. Cynthia’s sand-carved glass vase marks the first time a three dimensional piece has been chosen as the art piece of the year in Winesong’s 28 year history.

Says Winesong Event Coordinator Terese Kelley, “We are thrilled and honored to have Cynthia as the 2012 Artist of the Year. For many years Cynthia has been a huge supporter of Winesong and Mendocino Coast District Hospital. Her beautiful piece is generating excitement among our many supporters around the country.”

Myers creates exquisite sand-carved art glass in her studio on the Mendocino Coast. She has developed an ever widening reputation for her sand carved glass vases with their decorative exteriors and their innovative cut-away rims.
