Mendocino Coast Historical Society offers a regular docent led walk of Fort Bragg’s historical business district. The next walking tour is 2 p.m. Sunday, May 25.

Learn about Fort Bragg’s rich and historic commercial past. Hear how Fort Bragg’s business district is actually located where the Fort Bragg military post was built, and how the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake destroyed much of the business district, and learn how the area has changed throughout Fort Bragg’s history.
