Former Fort Bragg resident Freda Moon just wrote an article about the “The New Fort Bragg” in the April 2010 issue of Sunset Magazine. She vividly recalls the days when this was a mill town with greasy spoons, and glass beach was the city garbage dump. Today, she notes, Glass Beach is a pristine part of MacKerricher State Park and the greasy spoons have given way to “inventive restaurants working with artisan ingredients.
