The Mendocino Mushroom, Wine and Beer Festival kicked off in style last weekend with the Zoppe’ Family Circus, the Mushroom Train and numerous Mushroom dinners at local restaurants. With the beautiful Indian summer weather, there is lots to enjoy here in Fort Bragg, so don’t miss the next round of Mushroom themed events, scheduled through the Festival’s end on Sunday, November 16th.

The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens continues to host wild mushroom observation walks, Mondays starting November 17th and continuing into December! No picking, but great opportunities to photograph local species in their natural habitat.
