Botanical Gardens Mushroom Walks
Every week from 1:30 – 3:30 pm, November 1, 2010 through January 31, 2011
Join a staff mycologist on a weekly walk for mushrooms throughout the Garden. Mushroom identification, biology, edibility, myths and the good times that all come along with a mushroom walk will be included. Warning: exposure to the mushroom world can be habit-forming! Mushroom Identification Workshop & Walk

Learn the basics of mushroom identification with a hands-on, pre-paddle mushroom lesson and then tour the calm waters of the Noyo River in search of wild mushrooms and other Noyo River wonders. Our waterproof gear will keep you dry and warm. The ease and comfort of our touring sea kayaks will allow you to relax and enjoy the quiet solitude of the Noyo River, fall scenery, colorful migratory ducks, and mysterious mushrooms.
This is a 3 hour guided adventure. No previous kayaking experience is necessary and all kayaking equipment is provided including waterproof splashwear. Reservations are required and tours run rain or shine.

A method used by commercial cultivators throughout the world easily adapted to home production or small cultivators. Wine & Mushroom Excursion Train
