Art Events: Community Center of Mendocino Coastal Storytellers

Coastal StorytellersAll kinds of art events are happening on the coast! The Community Center of Mendocino will hold another fascinating Coastal Storytellers Event, Thursday, May 31 at 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Come hear another round of true tales from local storytellers! Eight storytellers will share autobiographical pieces on the topic of “food.” These stories will explore memories, experiences, and ideas connected to one of the most important aspects of life: food, glorious food, and the life lessons we learn from it. Extra special snacks, beer, and wine will all be for sale at the event.  Admission is $5.00 and proceeds benefit the Community Center of Mendocino and the After School Enrichment Program. People from up and down the coast are invited to share their stories. Find them on Facebook for upcoming themes and dates. We’ve attended these events and they are truly a wonderful evenings entertainment.
