October 5: Coast Cat Project Fundraiser
October Events KomopokoFeline Fans get ready! On October 5, The Coast Cat Project is joining up with The Alleyway Art Project and local artist Kyoko Hirota to create some furr-tastic alley cat art in Fort Bragg alleys. How purrfect is that?! Snacks and beverages will be provided by the inimitable Mendocino watering hole, Dick’s Bar, with art work by Kyoko Hirota and the opportunity to find an adorable, adoptable kitty to take home.
The vision of this project is to create multiple small murals around town. Cat portraits in black and white will include a QR code so admirers can scan on their phones to find out more about the organization, helping to promote The Cat Project’s spay and neuter program. What a great way to help a wonderful organization protect cats, while beautifying the alleyways of Fort Bragg! Even if you can’t be in Fort Bragg for the event, you can still donate to the cause here.
