Holiday Season Activities

Festival of Lights
Holiday SeasonEvery winter the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens becomes a spectacular show of glittering lights. Enjoy a stroll through the Festival of Lights and experience the magic of the holiday season, rain or shine. Visitors can warm up in a beautifully decorated tent complete with live music, local craft brews, and some of the best wine Mendocino County has to offer. The Holiday Sweets Café offers hot cocoa, cider, and homemade goodies. Every weekend November 23 through December 16. Kids are free!
Holiday Season at Gloriana Musical Theatre
Holiday Season Charlie BrownThis year, Gloriana presents the beloved A Charlie Brown Christmas by Charles M. Schulz. When Charlie Brown complains about the overwhelming materialism he sees among everyone during the holiday season, Lucy suggests that he become director of the school Christmas pageant, which proves to be a frustrating endeavor. When Charlie attempts to restore the proper holiday spirit with a forlorn little Christmas tree fails, he turns to Linus for help discovering the real meaning of Christmas. See this classic right here in Fort Bragg! Tickets at Harvest Market or Gloriana Theatre Company.
For dining on the coast during the holiday season, we’ve compiled a list of restaurants on the Mendocino Coast that will be open, and we invite you to stay tuned to our Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page for breaking holiday season news. We’d love to help you celebrate!
